Introducing a Novel Synchronized Tonegenerator System for Accurate Dental Arch Generation

The development of a novel system that can generate a dental arch with precise control and accuracy has revolutionized the field of dentistry. The synchronized tonegenerator system, designed to fit patients' unique arch parameters, ensures high-quality results in full denture manufacture.

One of the significant advantages of this innovative system is its ability to achieve single-point error values as low as 1.83 mm, with an arc-width direction (x-axis) precision of -33.29 mm. The dental arch generator's slipways are designed for repeated positioning accuracy of 0.12 mm, guaranteeing precise control over the generation process.

The system's automatic generation capabilities allow it to produce a customized dental arch that perfectly fits each patient's unique arch parameters. This is achieved through the use of a multi-manipulator tooth-arrangement robotic system, which enables experimental control and preliminary tooth arrangement.

To ensure real-time, closed-loop, synchronous control over the dental arch generator, researchers employed high-resolution timing to study the control pulse realization. A hardware control scheme was developed using an industrial personal computer and control card PC6401, enabling precise kinematics and control point position calculations for the dental arch generator of the tooth arrangement robot.

The motion planning of each control point was also analyzed, ensuring that the system can accurately plan and execute complex movements. The primary goal of this study was to investigate the automatic acquisition of the dental arch and implement synchronized control over the dental arch generator for use in full denture manufacture.

In contrast to traditional, manual methods of reproducing dental arch forms, which are prone to human errors caused by random factors, this system offers a more reliable and accurate solution. By utilizing advanced technology and precise control mechanisms, the synchronized tonegenerator system has set a new standard for dental arch generation, enabling the creation of high-quality full dentures with unparalleled precision.
